For the past twelve years, Nalda Searles has travelled to the Southern Forests region for her annual weekend residential workshop in the town of Northcliffe. Each year a different aspect of fibre art-making has been explored. There are dedicated participants who enrol year after year. A real sense of connection and community linked to these creative ‘retreats’ has evolved.

The ‘Weekends with Nalda’ exhibition celebrates this twelve-year journey. It celebrates an ongoing between an artist and a community. Artworks created by participants from across the years will be displayed.
