After Bloom is a series of events by The Western Australian Fibre and Textile Association (WAFTA) in and around the Yorkas Nyinning Gallery at the Women’s Memorial Park, Forrest Drive, Kings Park as part of the Kings Park Wildflower Festival. After Bloom includes daily demonstrations of all things ‘fibre’ using seeds and plant material from the park which passers-by are encouraged to try out. The project also includes site-specific ephemeral artwork, a community art project, an exhibition, and a shop selling fibre works inside the gallery.
