In Situ
September 3, 2021 - October 9, 2021

Shivani Aggarwal, Sujora Conrad, Nien Schwarz, Holly Story, Warburton Story Wire Artists
In Situ is a group exhibition featuring contemporary artists who each fold craft into their practice. The artists address the Triennial’s themes of votive, family/utility, shelter and adornment and consider the Triennial’s intent to explore ‘innate curiosity and rituals that connect us to elements beyond ourselves and our immediate geography.’ In response to the scale and characteristics of the Holmes à Court Gallery, the artists will be creating new, large-scale installations, as well as more intimate artworks. The installations will beckon, invite immersive and haptic encounters, with places that might invite sitting, browsing, contemplation, and close examination.
Gallery Hours: Tuesday – Saturday: 11am – 5pm
