Description

The Jewellers and Metalsmiths Group of Australia National Conference brings together professionals, designers, theorists, curators, artists, students, educators and enthusiasts from around the world, for a day of presentations and panel discussions at the Fremantle Maritime Museum.

This famed biennial event was last held in WA in 2010, making this a rare opportunity to showcase WA’s rich contribution to contemporary jewellery.

Immerse yourself in a diverse program exploring the current state and the future trajectory of the field. Hear perspectives from First Nations artists and makers from across Australia and learn about the creative obsessions of extraordinary artists from USA, Thailand, Denmark and Australia.

Surrounding the conference day are dynamic workshops and an extensive exhibition program at various venues throughout Walyalup/Fremantle, Boorloo/Perth and surrounds.
