Description
A solo exhibition of multi-disciplinary practitioner Leanne Bray brings together a diverse body of work that delves deeply into her experience of traditional crafts and the art of the handmade object – both functional and decorative.
With an immersive approach, each area within the gallery space shares aspects of differing adornment and skills. Leanne Bray will deliver an 8-week course titled ‘Coiling, Stitching and Cobbling Woven Vessels’ from 25 July – 12 September.
Professor Richard Read will deliver a lecture on 28 August titled ‘Art and Craft’ and discuss with Leanne Bray the work in Adorn and broader themes of art and craft practices.
