Biography
Lorela Mehmeti is a PhD Candidate in Architecture and Design Cultures at the University of Bologna. Her current work focuses on Design Knowledge Cultures: New Ecosystems of Scientific Production in a Globalized World. She is currently Assistant Editor of the design scientific journal diid.disegno industriale industrial design.
She earned a MA in Interdisciplinary Research and Studies on Eastern Europe, focusing on the integration process of the Western Balkans into the EU. These experiences paved the way towards project design and new co-design methodologies for strategic inclusion through culture and creativity as tools for increasing community resilience.
